Smidge Guided

18 months - 3 years **Caregiver-and-me

Smidge is a gentle introduction to the art studio experience for our youngest artists and their caregivers. Together, children and adults explore materials through sensory play, simple art processes, and open-ended making.

Classes focus on exploration rather than outcomes, encouraging little ones to touch, try, and discover at their own pace—while caregivers support and participate alongside them. Smidge builds early confidence, fine motor skills, and a joyful first connection to creative expression.

Smidge Process

3 - 4 years

Smidge Process is a natural next step for young artists ready to work independently in the studio. This drop-off class emphasizes process-based artmaking through playful experimentation with materials, tools, and techniques.

Children are encouraged to make choices, take creative risks, and embrace mistakes as part of learning. The focus remains on the experience of creating—building confidence, independence, and a sense of pride in their ideas rather than a finished product.

Grands

6+ years

Grands is for older chiodr3en ready to expand their artistic thinking and techniques while still embracing creativity and play. This class introduces more complex materials, thoughtful prompts, and age-appropriate art concepts, all within a supportive, low-pressure environment.

Students are encouraged to experiment, refine ideas, and develop their own artistic voice—learning that great art comes from curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to try.

Sprouts

4 - 5 years

Sprouts is designed for curious, imaginative artists who are eager to dig deeper into artmaking. In this class, children explore a wider range of materials and ideas while developing early artists skills through playful guided projects.
